Another Option was established in the year 2000. It has gone through a number of transformations since then. Our history has evolved in sync with what we believe to be a critical need in the services sector at any given time. Since 2006 our focus has been on helping people take care of themselves better by freeing up some of the time they currently spend doing chores, running errands, preparing meals, and a host of other activities. Although we are more often contacted by the elderly community for non-medical help, we are starting to see are rise in requests from busy professionals who simply want more quality time to spend with their loved ones or to spend enjoying sports, personal, and recreational activities.

Simply put our mission is to provide personal services designed to ease the burdens of everyday life and enable our clients to have higher quality free time.

The company was started by Brie Cook who is an entrepreneur at heart with a solid history of running her own businesses. Past endeavors have been covered in the local media including several appearances on TV, PR releases, cover stories in the newspapers, appearances at trade shows, and other media events. Our company is insured and any employees have undergone a criminal background check. Perhaps most importantly, the owner herself is a baby boomer not far from retirement. She has an aging parent that lives alone and is consistently in need of the very services Another Option provides. She also wants the quality of life talked about throughout this website when she retires. Don't worry, there will be other qualified employess to take the reins of this company when she is ready to let go!

We are working with organizations like Service Link, the Department of Health and Human Services, Medicaid, HCBC, and other groups to ensure that our services meet the guidelines established for services providers and so that we are aware of the services that may be covered by a third party.
